As a Player

Position: Shortstop Bats: R Throws: R Statline: Rookie (no stats) Diaz is a hitter who hits a lot of line drives and has a lot of plate discipline. He has the power to hit homeruns, but that is not his strength. Last year in 116 games between AA-AAA, he hit .278 with 13 home runs in 116 games. Defensively, he can field the shortstop position and has the arm strength to make the throws necessary. He has the tools to be a solid backup at shortstop.
