- Well, we expected a baseball game Friday night between the Cardinals and Reds, but instead we got a football game. The Cardinals tacked on two touchdowns and Joey Votto was only able to kick a field goal through the uprights for Cincinnati. A final score of 14-3 was a great sight for Cardinals fans to see, as the team is now 6-4 on the season.
- It took SEVEN HOME RUNS to compile fourteen runs on the night, with Aledmys Diaz, Randal Grichuk, Matt Holliday (TWICE), Brandon Moss (Pinch Hit), and Matt Adams all going deep. Reds pitching definitely needs to put this night behind them if they want to win the series or even pick up one game.

- Carlos Martinez started for the Redbirds, and he was very efficient on the mound. Besides giving up three runs in one inning, Martinez was perfect and made it through seven frames, giving some needed rest to the Cardinals bullpen.
- The Cardinals will send out Adam Wainwright tomorrow night to try and win the series vs. Cincinnati. Oh, by the way, the Cubs and Pirates lost tonight as well.
