For the fourth day in a row, the Cardinals showed off their offense by beating the Florida Marlins 8-2, most notably including Oscar Taveras’ first inning grand slam. The Cardinals have scored a total of 45 runs over the past four games.

However, Carlos Beltran and Jake Westbrook both had to leave the game with injuries, but neither seems to be that serious. Beltran is listed as day-to-day and Westbook said that he could have stayed in the game, but was leaving as a precaution. X-rays were negative on Beltran’s knee.

Joe Kelly will make his first start of the spring tomorrow when the Cardinals travel north to Kissimmee to play the Houston Astros.
