According to Nick Cafaro of The Boston Globe, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Detroit Tigers are rumored to be interested in signing Kyle Lohse.

It certainly looks as if the Dodgers don’t have any shortage of money, so it’s not completely unreasonable to think they might think of signing the 33-year-old, who went 16-3 with a 2.86 ERA in 2012. As MLB Trade Rumors points out though, they already have Chris Capuano and Aaron Harang slated to fill in the backend of the rotation. Having a Greinke-Lohse 1-2 punch though would be pretty remarkable.

As for the Tigers, they continue to receive offers for right-hander Rick Porcello and might have a little extra money to spend on Lohse to replace him.
