I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I am currently a freshman at Washington University studying Finance and Computer Science. I have always loved being outdoors skiing, playing soccer and hiking as well as watching any and all sports.
My mom grew up in St. Louis and would always tell me stories about the Cardinals, but I didn't understand until I was at a game and saw Albert Pujols blast three home runs in a row. Since then I have grown into more and more of a fan, and I will never forget sitting on my couch while my mom and brother were at the magical game 6 in 2011 watching the best game I have ever witnessed. Working on this blog has started off great thus far and I am excited to work with the CardsBlog team to provide St. Louis baseball fans with all we have to offer.

I am from St. Louis, Missouri. I am a student in the BSBA program at Washington University in St. Louis. I try to watch every game of the season and love Carlos Martinez. I am very invested in green initiatives around campus. In my free time, I like to do anything baseball related, read, and hangout with friends.
I fell in love with the Cardinals a few years ago. But being from St. Louis, I have always bled Cardinal red. My fondest memory of the Cardinals, and what initially led to my intense fandom, is from game 3 of the 2011 NLDS. When we were down against Cliff Lee, my dad wanted to go and get food. I didn't want to miss the game but I was hungry. So I followed him and right when the field was out of sight, David Freese sent a jolt into the seats. I missed the whole thing but from that moment on, I was hooked.

I'm a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis from Houston, TX majoring in either History or Philosophy and minoring in Sports Management. I became a Cardinals fan back in 2011 after the epic World Series where the Cardinals defeated the Rangers in 7 games. One of my favorite MLB players ever, Lance Berkman, was on that Cardinals team and it helped that they beat my least favorite team in the MLB. I’m also an Asst. Editor for Climbing Tal’s Hill, an Astros blog. I would have to say that my favorite Cardinal is Michael Wacha (Gig’em).

I am a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis from Madison, Wisconsin. Currently, I am in the College of Arts and Science on the Pre-Med track, but I am undecided for major. I will likely be a Classics minor.
I fell in love with the Cardinals during the epic 2011 World Series game, in which David Freese played the hero. Down 3-2 in the series and 7-5 in the game heading to the bottom of the 9th, Freese hit a two-run triple to tie the game. Then, in the 11th inning, he hit a lead-off walk-off homerun to send the series to game 7. This moment was truly unforgettable because improbable the comeback was. This moment exemplified to me why sports were great.
