Pittsburgh Pirates: The Pirates won their fifth straight game on Sunday afternoon to remain a half game back in the division. They are even in the loss column with the Reds at 40 and start a series with the Cubs tonight.
Milwaukee Brewers: The Brewers travel to Philadelphia tonight after being swept by the Reds over the weekend. Sitting at 44-50 and 10.5 game back in the division, it is safe to say that the Brewers will be reluctant sellers over the next ten days as the trade deadline approaches.
Chicago Cubs: After being swept by the Cardinals over the weekend, the Cubs travel to Pittsburgh to try and gain back some of the momentum they had throughout the early parts of July. There is no doubt that in the proceeding weeks, they could play the role of spoiler for many teams.
Houston Astros: The Astros continue their never-ending season tonight as they face Cincinnati to try and stop their six-game losing streak. Similarly to the Cubs, they could very well act as the role of spoiler in the coming weeks.
