In a media session in Jupiter this morning, John Mozeliak said that the organization is happy with what they have and they will not pursue outside pitching options.

This is not a surprise to anyone. As I wrote earlier this morning, if the club could find a way to get Joe Kelly, Trevor Rosenthal, and Shelby Miller in the pitching rotation, I genuinely think they would. There’s a reason the Cardinals’ farm system has been consistently ranked number one by many evaluators. They have as much, if not more depth than anyone in Major League Baseball, and I think the front office is finally ready to see some of their stars blossom in the big leagues.

Another note of information: Mozeliak said he is not sure when Carlos Martinez will arrive due to his visa issues, and it sounds like Ronny Cedeno might arrive late as well because of visa issues.
