Good Morning Cardinal Nation. Here’s what’s I have for you this morning:

— Viva El Birdos wonders how much it will take to sign Kyle Lohse.

The pitching market, as we’ve noted several times on CardsBlog throughout the past couple weeks, has been a very expensive one this offseason. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think that he might get between $60-80 million in a 4-5 year type deal, similar to the one that Anibal Sanchez received from the Tigers (5 years, $80m). The Dodgers, who seemingly have an unlimited spending budget, have been most often linked to Lohse, so I would expect them to jump on him soon as there are only about 40 days until Pitchers and Catchers report.

— Reigning A.L. Cy Young winner David Price avoided arbitration with the Tampa Bay Rays by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $10.1 million.

— RHP Brett Myers signed a one-year deal worth $7 million with the Cleveland Indians. Myers went 3-8 with a 3.31 ERA in 2012 over 65.1 innings.

— This is a pretty crazy story about a former Pirates infielder from the ’80s, Sammy Khalifa.
